Retrograde Motion
A relationship forever lost,
or a chance to start over.
Accepting that taken by the past as cost,
or hoping we just lost focus.
Moving forever forward,
or taking time to consider the past.
Stumbling blindly onward,
or giving something the opporunity to last.
We've come full circle.
The finish was the start.
We can travel on together,
or drift again apart.
We stand at a crossroads
in a place we've been before.
Do we choose a new path together,
or part ways once more?
