Thanks for this presence on the web. The following is about my great
grandfather:

Thomas S. Payne                      Born 10-28-1844   Died 5-25-1926
Enlisted Sept 15, 1863        Separated on April 26, 1865
Army of Tennessee, 66th Regiment, Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Company H
Dekalb and other counties in Georgia
Valiant Confederate Soldier is marked on his headstone.

He is buried at Bethabara Baptist Church Cemetary next to his wife
Louisa Ann Mize at front and center of cemetary. Other confederated
soldiers are buried there as well.    (Louisa Ann Mize Born 10-30-1851
Died 5-3-1937)

Cemetary is located just yards south of the Hwy 78 / Hwy 53 intersection
in Oconee County, Georgia. Cemetary is located on Hwy 78 just across the
Hwy from the church
