Yes,my name is Heath Roland and I live in Kansas City,Kansas and I am an
active Son's of Confederate Veteran's member.Anyway my camp commander found
a cemetery outside Kansas City that contained 6 Confederate soldier's.They
were all buried by a large monument.This monument was erected in 1871.This
past June {2} camp's of the S.C.V erected headstone's for all the six
soldier's.This cemetery was pathetic,it was all over grown,weed's and tree
sapling's so thick you couldn't even see the headstones in the
cemetery.This cemetary was a community cemetery and as far as I can tell
the first burial in it was in 1844,but we have yet to clear the whole
cemetery.

  But anyway the cemetery is called : Pleasant Grove Cemetery.It is
located at Camden Point ,Missouri.

  Here's a list of the soldiers:  Lieutenant Alamarine Hardin
                                  Private Richard Alvis
                                  Private Jasper Clements
                                  Private Robert McCormick
                                  Private Jesse Myles
                                  Private Andrew Smith

                                  They were all members of: Thornton's
Missouri Cavalry
                                  And they were all killed: July 13,1864
at the Battle of Camden Point.


  Well I just thought that you'd like to put this on your list.I want to
ask you a question.I see in Kansas that there is a cemetery in
Olathe,Kansas.Do you know the name of it and where exactly it is in
Olathe,Kansas??I live about 25 miles from Olathe,Kansas.Well,I guess I'll
