Hello:
The following is a list of Confederate Soldiers that are supposed to be
buried in the cemetery near the location of the Skirmishes and General
Garnetts's Camp at Laurel Hill near Belington,Barbour Co.(W)VA on 7th thru 11th July 1861.

Pvt. C. Harris, Co. C 20th Virginia,Killed 26th June 1861
Pvt. Fendall C. Whitlock, Co. G 23rd Virginia,Died 28th June 1861
Pvt. D. Adams, Co. D 1st Georgia, Killed 8th July 1861
Pvt. J. Davis, Co. E 23rd Virginia, Died 9th July 1861
Pvt. Robert N. Oney, Co. B 37th Virginia Killed 11th July 1861
ILT. W. Wheeler, Co. I 1st Georgia Killed 8th July 1861
Pvt. John H Blake, Co. H 23rd Virginia Killed 9th July 1861
Pvt. Charles H. Goff, Co. H 23rd Virginia Killed 7th July 1861
Pvt. J. Slate, Co. E 23rd Virginia Died 15th July 1861


The two following were my g-g-uncles
Pvt. Albert B. Chewning(Tuning) Co. B 19th Virginia Cavalry, Killed 3rd
March 1865, Buried at the Dyer Cemetery near Webster Springs,Webster Co.
WV

Pvt. Frederick Chewning(Tuning) Co. B 19th Virginia Cavalry  died 6th
March 1865 from wounds recieved on 3rd March 1865,buried Dyer Cemetery near Webster Springs,Webster Co. WV.
