Davis,Oliver received pension monies 1891 to 1897,Fannin Co.,Ga.
& Wm.Carroll Edmondson, d.in Atlanta,Ga during Battle of Peachtree
Creek. Cemetery unknown again but likely CW men were buried where they
died,yes?..
Ah,yes G'ma Oliver's brothers,Tilman Davis & Daniel Merrill
Davis(pensions given) also fought &/or died in CW. Tilman & Dan also in
Blue Ridge Ranger's from Lumpkin Co.,Ga..Tilman lived until 1911 & both
burial places are unknown to me..Descendant of Dan's may know abt
Dan.I'll ask her. Will send e-mail with info on my 2 Seruya kin who
died/served in Vie Nam..
About to forget my Dad...Wm. Marion Hunt is buried in Walton Co. at
Clegg Cem.#1 & served twice ending as a Sgt.
1952, i think..Can be more specific if needed..b.6/18/1921 in
Monroe,Ga.,Walton Co.,also & d. 3/3/1963 in Dade Co.,Fla at age 42..
