My name is Allen. I live near a small town about twenty miles from
Corpus Christi, Tx.

There is a cemetery located at the corner of my property. There are not too many markers remaining for the Cemetery was all but forgotten for many decades. When the property was to be developed, that was when it was rediscovered.

One of the markers is for a Colonel Wm A Means C.S.A. Retired.

Died around 1880. From what I have been able to gather, there used to be a town close by, but burned down in the late 1890's. It was a stage stop on the other side of the Nueces River across from Corpus Christi. I dont have a name for the cemetery, but would be glad to send pictures and any information needed.
