Summary of W.P. Attacks Comments Made in 1998

In 1998, the comment was made that the number of attacks you receive based
on hand-to-hand training is pretty unrealistic. This was in reference to
firing modern weapons.

The two examples that were quoted were Bruce Lee vs. RCMP Officer, and
a martial arts guy vs. an assassin. In both cases the martial artists would
get more attacks despite the fact that they have no modern weapons
training. It was suggested that, realistically and all things being equal,
those who were proficient in the use of firearms should be able to react and
shoot faster than thoose that did not have any training or knowledge in
the area.

I do agree with this reasoning, but the system is not built to reflect this.
Although no actions were suggested to correct this, I am hoping that this
discussion is continued in the new year.
