Hey guys,

I think I have found a possible solution to the problem posed by the common
infantry rifle being able to do more than conventional heavy mount weapons.
I have enclosed the email at the bottom if you wish to review my comments.
To summarize, I will say that heavy mount weapons are STUPID. They do not do
near the amount of damage that even a common infantry weapon can do (3d6 x 7
= 126 MDC vs. a rail gun that does 1d6 x 10 = 60 MDC). This number will
certainly be further inflated if revised burst rules are implemented (3d6 x 30
= 540 MDC).

I have a possible solution that works out pretty good in my opinion, but it
involves changing EVERYTHING to SDC. I found it on a RIFTS website. I have had
several discussions with the gm that manages the website, and I think he has
some excellent suggestions. These new rules would make railguns awesome (and I
think it is about time).
