The Jackal's View of World Governments

Unfortunately, most of the existing governments are now totalitarian.
For those with the military might, they can rule with the edict, "might is right".
This has made most of the governments in the world take on the form of
an empire, monarchy, dictatorship, or republic.

While this has eliminated much of the bureaucratic garbage of the old governments
and allowed more attention to be paid to defense, it has allowed countries like
the Coalition States to perform all kinds of atrocities against its own
people, such as the extermination of dimensional beings.
