By the way, I made a proxy deck with the furnace / maniac combo in it. It is
possible to get a fourth round kill with it! You put mana birds out, then
a mogg maniac, then the furnace + shock --> BOOM! You're dead. It is really
sly. If you don't see it coming, it will kill you. It won half the games last
night, so it is at least as good as any other deck. It found that it had major
complications against counterspell / control decks and decks with pingers in
them (usually the maniac gets pinged as soon as the opportunity presents
itself). It can get really nasty even if the entire combo is not out. In one
game, I had the furnace and a maniac out without an en-kor guy. I earthquaked
for three and the guy was dead! (3 damage doubles to six on the maniac, six
gets applied to the opponent so it doubles to 12, add the six the opponent
receives from earthquake and that is 18 damage!). The guy's jaw must have
dropped two inches :)

It does really well against creature decks and suicide black. It does moderately
well against sly and counter / burn decks.

The guy made a proxy oath of druids deck that did pretty good too.
