Yep. You are wrong about the wording of the card though. You don't get to name
a creature type. All creatures of the same type get the bonus as well. In other
words if you have 5 artifact creatures out, someone else has five summon knight
cards out, and someone else has 10 summon goblin cards out: your artifact
creatures get +4/+4, the guys knights get +4/+4, and the other guys goblins are
+9/+9.
