Since old time, the "dashi" ( a
tower shaped festival stage that is paraded around the city) has been
an essential instalation to activate and tie the civic spirit. This
project proposes to activate the city, taking advantage of the
undertaking of Tochigi elevated station with the stage as the center.
And it takes a hint from the "dashi". Additionally, this is the main
plazza for the "Tochigi autumn festival" which is held once every
five years.
