Melanie

I feel guilty every three weeks. Every three weeks, we have our free Shabbat, and I go over to my aunts and uncles house. They are extremely nice and generous people, and I always feel as though Im taking advantage of them. I feel like Im taking advantage of them, and they dont have a lot of money...

Or so I thought.

Well, they dont yet, let me explain.

See, my aunt, it should be explained, is very gifted in the field of journalism. Im not insinuating that she is not good in other fields, but after quitting/fired from the Jerusalem Post, due to a contract dispute, she and some former coworkers set up a fairly successful advertising agency, Media Plus. Last time I was here, Melanie was working for Carvels and she had this huge promotion for them. They did phenomenal business. Then they thought they really dont need her anymore. Carvels has since virtually left the Holy Land.

So, shes pretty good at it. She has created advertising sections for the papers, and has put a few companies on the map. Best of all, she not the one responsible for these idiotic radio jingles that clog the airwaves here. Anyways one of her recent clients was this Israeli oil company. Very new and disoriented, she saw that they werent well run. For NIS 500, she bought a good part of the company.

Now, so far, the stock has only tripled. But that was enough to catch the Wall Street Journals attention.

Cool.

And if this company ever finds oil, my little Israeli Ivan Boesky will be pretty well off.

Very cool.
