Is Bergkamp back to his best???

DENNIS BERGKAMP is determined to change his goalscoring fortunes this weekend against Sheffield Wednesday according to AFCi.

He did not play in last year's defeat at Hillsborough, Ron Atkinson's first game as Sheffield Wednesday manager, but believes the team is starting to get back to the way they played last season.

He said: "It will soon change to the way we played last season. "It is important that when we don't play well, we still get points and we have managed to do that.

"We did not play well in the first month and when you look at the first few games, at the most we only had three or four players in form and we managed to get points."

Nicolas Anelka opened his account against Manchester United but Bergkamp is still to get off the mark.

Some neat touches against Leicester suggested he was on his way back to form and his performances against Lens and Manchester United suggest he is on the way back to his peak.

There is still some way to go, but the fears manager Arsene Wenger had about Bergkamp facing burn-out, appear ill-founded.

But the Dutch striker is still looking for his first strike of the campaign and added: "It is always nice for a striker to get his first goal. It's just a matter of time.

"You never know when it is going to come but the main thing for me is to get back into form. In the last couple of games, that has happened."

Lets get back there!!!
