2. A Sure Foundation (Stability)

Isaiah 28:16 "So this is what the Sovereign Lord says: 'See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never be dismayed.'"

Holy Father God,
I come to wait quietly before You.
The spirit of the age would press my pace
beyond the wisdom of waiting
It would tell me if I don't hurry, I can't get ahead.
But I hear You calling me to quietness as I pray in Jesus' name,
taking my place upon the sure foundation
You have laid for my life in Him.

I come in prayer to affirm this day,
"My hope is built on nothing less!"
Establish my steps today, dear Lord.
Let the fruit of my life be enduring
because my steps are ordered within Your counsels.
In the name of my Sure Foundation I pray -
Jesus,
Your Son,
my Savior.
Amen!
