I call upon Your name, O Lord,
because in disclosing Yourself
as the Lord Who Heals
you have expressed Your nature.
Thank You for sending Jesus
to further remind us -
to remind me -
how great is Your love and
how unlimited is Your power to heal.
Now I come to ask that You hear my cry, for I am sick, Lord.
I am sick in body;
I am weary in soul;
I am tired in spirit;
I am in pain and torn with affliction.
I speak Your name, Jesus.
O Jesus, touch my body with health.
Lord Jesus, restore my soul and revive my spirit.
Healing Saviour, remove my pain and repair my brokenness,
I cast all this burden upon Your back,
for it is there You bore the stripes
that purchased the healing
for which I now cry out.
I take Your name to my lips, my Healer -
and now, with praise to You,
I relax in Your promises and power
knowing all shall be well.
You are my Healing-Lord.
