13. The Hidden Manna (Provision)
Revelation 2:17 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it."
Bread of heaven, sent to earth below
To fill the starving heart of man
Midst the famine of this worldly scene;
Thou art welcome to my soul.
Bread of heaven, broken once for all,
That none must go unfed today.
Broken Manna giv'n to weary souls,
Come, O man, and freely dine.
Bread of heaven, blest Redeemer,
I'll feast on Thy provision;
Thus I'll walk and never languish,
Having fed on Thy supply.
Bread of heaven, soon-returning Lord,
I'll watch for heaven's rending,
But until then I will occupy,
Strengthened by Thy life within.
Bread of heaven, Jesus Christ my Lord,
Thou art my soul's supply.
Come and feed me, blessed Savior,
Come and fill, for Thou hast promised
Hungry souls to satisfy.
