1. A Wall of Fire (Protection)

Zechariah 2:5 "'And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,' declares the Lord, 'and I will be its glory within.'"

Today, O Lord
I come with praise to the gates of your holy temple
to give thanks for Your promise of protection.
As a wall of fire, dear Savior,
keep me entirely unto Yourself.
I humbly pray, protect me from
wandering from Your commands,
and deliver me from the evil one.

I come within the shielding protection
of Your insulating provision,
Thanking You that the wall which surrounds me
is a covering as well.
And concerning those points of pursuit
wherein the enemy seeks to gain the advantage
of me, my loved ones, or any of Your own whom I name -
in Jesus' name, my Wall of Fire,
stop the adversary's action and restrain his advances.

My eyes are upon You,
my Lord and my God -
my provision for protection
and my Wall of Fire.
In Jesus' name.
Amen.
