One last breath is all I need
before I go to heaven for eternity
My pain will be gone and my worries ceased
when Jesus finally calls me
The supper table is set and the red carpet is on the floor
I am going home for good now, I don't have to worry anymore
My pain is only fleeting, can't you still see the joy in my eyes?
I am not thinking about my suffering, my heart is rather set on the skies
For I know that one day soon they will open and the arms of the Almighty will appear
and take hold of my passing life and draw me ever near
He will hold me close and reassure me that everything will be all right
that He will keep you in His arms of love when you think of me tonight
So don't be sad when I die, but rather you should rejoice with me
for I shall be with the Creator of heaven and earth, who shall reign throughout eternity
So don't think of me and be sad that I am not with you any longer
I have set aside my weaknesses and frailties and have been made stronger
The arms of the Almighty shall lift me up in love
so instead of weeping into my coffin as you stare at my empty shell, look into the skies above
Imagine a smile upon my face as I look down in love at you
for my prayer is that you don't be sad for I am only leaving for but a few
I pray that the remainder of your life is very richly blessed
and that you hold on tightly to the faith and the courage of which you profess
For if you do so and live your life for Christ until the very end
you shall also join me in heaven and we shall be reunited again
So don't cry for me, my dear friend, I am not experiencing any pain
I am not focused on the worldly things I am losing, but rather the heavenly things I will gain
Please remember me kindly, never forget me when I fade away
for I am not saying �good-bye', rather I am saying �I will see you another day'
