Procedure in taking Bright and Dark field photographs

- 1.Switch On the control panel of the camera.
- 2.Push the red button of the camera to take out the camera.
- 3.Pull the "Open" button to open the camera put
in the film.
- 4.Adjust the ASA number on the camera by pressing the green
button.
- 5.Fit the camera back to the microscope Carefully.
- 6.Change to Dark field condenser.
- 7.Change to Apochro-objective Carefully.
- 8.Switch on bottom light source.
- 9.Put on your ethanol cleaned slide.
- 10.Focus on your section.
- 11.Adjust the height of the condenser after closing the diaphragm.
- 12.Open the diaphragm fully.
- 13.Align the crosshair with the section on the slide.
- 14.For 64 T film, use RECIP 4
- 15.For Bright field photo,
- Base plate H, Exposure Adjustment +2, Light source Max.
- 16.Adjust the value of the iris to 2/3 of the value on the
objective.
- 17.For Dark field photo,
- Base plate D, Exposure Adjustment 0, Light source Max.
- 18 For Double Exposure photo,
- Press double, Base plate H, Exp. Adj. +1, Blue filter, Light
Max. Then Base plate D, Exp. Adj. - 1, Red filter, Light Max.
- 19.Press Start. "Good Luck!"
- 20.After the film is finished, switch to R on the camera
to rewind film.
