On August 10-12, we met and learned routines for the upcoming year and college cheer camp. It was a lot of intense hard work but we pulled through and managed to bond as a team as well. From the 13th through the 16th we were at UCA College Cheer Camp in Santa Barbara learning new stunts and interacting with other collegiate cheer teams from arround the country including UNLV, UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz, Arizona State, U. of A., USC, Orange Coast, and SJSU just to name a few. It was our first time at a camp and though we were exhausted from all the daily activities we pulled through and had a great week!
Our team took home many awards including 2 Superior squad ratings (highest rating at camp) and 3 Excellent ratings along with a 2nd place finish to the U. of A. in the basket toss competition. Great job Tritons!!!
