| In a particular episode of Itchy and Scratchy, Scratchy and Scratchy Jr. are enjoying a game of catch in a field of wheat. Itchy and Itchy Jr. arrive on the scene in a thresher and run over Scratchy and Son. The next thing we see is Itchy and Itchy Jr. playing their own game of catch with the cat head. Now to me this is not a suitable television show for children to watch. This particular show is watched by The Simpson family and is portrayed as a great show. On the Simpsons, we can see Bart and Lisa modeling what they see on this show which only teaches children that it is okay to mimic what they see on television, whether it be violent or not. I know I won't want my children to watch this show. |
