The team returned from spring break ready to play Miami of Ohio. After falling behind 4-0 early in the first quarter, senior defenseman Daryle Mosby changed the tempo of the game with a huge hit on a ground ball that turned into an OSU goal. Only trailing by a score of 5-4 at the half, the Bucks turned up the heat and went on a 6-2 scoring run. Goalie Jason Friedman came up big with 17 saves, and the Long Stick Middies controlled the face offs in the second half. Final Score OSU 11 Miami 7. Things would change for the Buckeyes only one week later as they faced one of the nations best, Ohio University. After keeping the game close for the entire first half, OSU gave up 4 unanswered goals to end the half trailing 8-4. The Buckeyes made a valiant effort in cutting the lead to 8-6, but that would be all. Ohio closed the game with 3 more goals to win 11-6. Once again the Buckeyes would have a chance to prove that they are one of the elite teams in the NCLL. Travelling to the Kent State Tournament on April 10th-11th. The team started with a lackluster performance against NCLL newcomer Kentucky. After four sloppy quarters of lacrosse the Bucks went on to win 7-3. In the second round the team would face Akron.
