Over there by the pier,
he came oh so deadly near
to falling off the dock that night.
he gave us such a horrible fright.
He wasn't as cool as he thought
with all the booze that he bought.
As he took another drink,
all our hopes started to sink.
One by one, we all left him.
He knew this fight he could not win.
As he fell down the stairs,
everybody just stood and stared.
