My thoughts

Has anyone noticed that Chivalry is dying out?  It used to be that a guy would open the door for a lady, stand up for her honor, or even pick her flowers as a sign of his affection.  Now, the women have to get the doors!  If a girl tells a guy what she wants or expects as to how she is to be treated, she is said to be asking too much.  So, in other words, we aren't worth anything.
They are lucky if a guy even has a passing thought about getting her a soda...let alone flowers!  And, if a guy were to hear his friends making fun of his girl, he would join in!  It also goes the other way for the women, too!  This is not right!!

There are rules to Chivalry.  Yes, I know what you are all thinking...RULES.  But, these rules aren't hard to follow.
They consist of 10 aspects:
Prowness, Justice, Loyalty, Defense,               Courage, Faith, Humility, Largesse, Nobility,     and Franchise.

Courage: Be prepared to make personal sacrifice and service, and seek wisdom. Take the side of truth in all matters, but also remember to temper justice with mercy.

Prowness: To seek excellence in all endeavors expected of a knight, and seeking strength to be used in the service of justice.

Franchise: Try to pass on Chivalry to all people.  Teach them the aspects, and do not limit yourself.

Nobility: Seek great stature of character by holding onto virtues and duties.

Loyalty: To seek unwavering commitment to people and ideas you choose to live by.

Largesse: Be generous.

Faith: To seek faith in beliefs that are pure andtrue, and to give hope
against despair.

Justice: To seek the path of rightousness, unencumbered by bias or personal interest.

Defense: To defend your liege lord/lady and those who depend upon you. Defend your nation, family, and those you believe worthy of loyalty.

Humility: Do not boast of your accomplishments.

If the "men" and "women" of this world would follow at least six of these ten rules of chivalry, a lot of problems would be solved!  Think about it!  Put an end to divorce, lower the amount of lawsuits, and stop war!  If we don't try, who will?  Very few follow the codes of Chivalry, but a few have come close.  They are the heros of today.
