Who is Drew?

Meet the Microbiologist Behind the Site.....Andrew Harrison

Hi there everyone, I hope you are finding your way about my site. Since you cared enough to drop by and see who I am and what I'm about, I might as well tell you.

I am a senior microbiology major at East Tennessee State Univeristy (uh...Go Bucs???) who is preparing for medical school in the fall of 1999. I am currently pursuing a research project on retroviruses to fulfill the requirements of my newly awarded internship, The Ronald McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program. And, except for studying 24-7, that is the hell that is my life.

For those of you needing to ask questions, here is my microbiology background:
General Microbiology
Pathogenic Microbiology
Immunology
Mycology
Human Anatomy
Bacterial Physiology
Genetics
Virology
General Chemistry I & II
Organic Chem I
Physics I & II
Biology I & II
There are still a few others that have little or no pertinence to the purpose of this webpage, but I'll be happy to tell you if you ask.
On a brighter note, my wife Kristy, helps to keep me from having a nervous breakdown and offer the occasional back rub when studies get tough. In fact, it was her idea that I design a resource page for all of my friends and classmates to use rather than try to find the minute amount of info they need by sifting through the monstrous net. I love the girl. She is just smart like that.

Hey, if you need me for anything, I am always checking my e-mail. Any questions, comments...anything. We'll always be happy to offer assistance or advice. To all of my buddies out there, good luck with your work. I hope that my lounge will help you.
