WAV files are excellent quality sound files that are most often associated
with "events" such as starting up Windows, exiting Windows, errors, etc. To
see a list of these events, go to the "Sounds" icon in the Windows Control
Panel. There you can see a list all the events and associate the WAV files
with the events. Event sounds are usually short in length. Longer playing
WAV files might include an entire song, however these take up a large amount
of disk space and have relatively long download times.
To play one of the WAV files listed below, simply left click on it and give it a
few seconds to load. You can download any of these WAV files for your own use
by right-clicking on the file name and selecting the "Save" menu item.
