funnies

I have all these funny photos I wish I could share, but I have to scan them and bah, that takes so long. Perhaps this weekend I'll get to it.

I'm at work and of course, I'm just having a grand ol' time. I think I bought the best children's book ever. It's called "David gets in Trouble" by David Shannon. Some people didn't find it as humerous as I did, but I opened it to like page 5 and it was "Ooops...I forgot" and it was a picture of the little boy running down the sidewalk with his mother in the upper left hand corner running after him with his pants. Ah, too funny. Ooh, and the other classic line was "But daddy says it all the time" and it was a picture of him sitting in the bathroom with soap in his mouth. hahaha. OK, so I paid $1 for this brand new book, but it was funny.

In other news, I have rediscovered the yumminess of Cherrios. They are good. ooooh can you hear that? That was me crunching.

I found my digital camera battery, so now I can take pictures of my new house that doesnt have any furniture in it. wheeeeee funfun.

The Homeless Guy

Every week, I get to read the mess Gannett sends over as the Tech Section. Most papers don't edit this and run it as is, however, I do not have that pleasure, and I get to take it apart and but it into our format on different pages and blahblahblah.

Anyhow, this week, there was a story about a homeless man who runs a journal (better than mine, of course, but then again, everyone's is better than mine) and it's an interesting read. He even mentions the USA Today (who wrote the story subscribers to Gannett papers will have the opportunity to read on Monday) reporter meeting him. Just thought it was interesting. Homeless Guy

Gottsta go back to work...

I smokers crack ho biotch.

OK, so the title doesn't exactly make sense, but it's funny, kind of. I must have been smoking something when I wrote the last entry...sheesh.

I am in dire need of a coffee table, but I have to wait until November when I can go pick up the one at home. So my livingroom looks like this big empty hole with a rug.

Work is busy, but OK. I am also in dire need of a haircut as well. I'm thinking of purchasing a Flowbee from eBay or something.

Ma and Ty are comin' over this weekend for some Oregon fun. Maybe I will get some fun shots of mom doing silly things, like tripping over curbs, or getting lost in town.

September

Greetings.

Hi, meet my Dell 8200. It works neato. Unfortunately, it has a wonky video card, which makes me sad, but let's just say that Katie from Dell messed up isn't very good, so if you call to place an order, ask to not speak to Katie.

Anyhow...life is good. My cottage is wonderful. I like to run around in my socks and slide around. I bought a big fat rug, so now it's a little less fun because it gets in my way.

I am now the proud owner of a cyber juice tiger, thanks to Robert. I love my juice tiger. It is my favorite. I will make cyberjuice every day.

"cyberjuice" is kind of a gross word. I'm sorry for making it up

September

Hi there.

So it's been about a month or two since my computer decided it'd have a life of its own - freezing...hard drives are disappearing...things are overheating...etc - so I'm gonna get a new one (what a good idea!)

Also, I'm movin', so Kelly has 0 time. That's right, zero. :(

This is just an FYI to let you know I'm alive. Paul gets worried when I don't update because his refresh button is getting worn out...(he's still single btw I think...go get 'em ladies)

Werd

Everyone welcome Angela Carpenter to this side of the Internet. This copy editor, Donny Osmond/music fanatic from the Statesman Journal is like mucho awesome-o and like stuff n stuff. She's like better than me like totally. Like today we were walking back from the post office and she like totally ate it (aka she missed the ledge and tripped) while walking on the sidewalk. I didn't laugh at the time it happened because I do it all the time, but like, I thought i'd share.

Otherwise, hi :). Robert, i will write you back, I promise. (Awesome video by the way! Many thanks)

haha

I was reading through my vintage news, starting with August 1999. Boy, I misused a lot of words...'flem' for 'phlegm' and others. I type too fast for my own good. Oh well. It's funny to read, or well, for me anyway.

It's now 9:40 and I'm just wearing pants. I can't figure out what to wear on top. I have 5 minutes to pick something out. My life is all about deadlines, most of which I dont make anyway, so I guess the next 5 minutes will really be like 10 minutes and it'll be another day that I show up late for work...heh

Holiday conversations with the family

I apologize if this is hard to read, but it's so darn funny...or well, to me it is. I'm talking to my brother...or well, his screen name. Some names have been edited to protect relatives, whereas some have not been. Click here for fun stuff

Unfortunate

What's the point of wanting something you'll never have? Guh, it sucks.

Goshdarn, I look all smooshed in that picture. I guess I look smooshed in real life, too. Bah. It's bad enough being short, now I'm smooshy.

Here are some good laffs, only because it's Tyler's Web site He's tryin to be like me, but he doesn't it better.

Oh, happy Fourth of July. I'm not really doing anything. I think I will mop my kitchen because that sounds festive. I also have tons of recycle stuff, so if you're really into recycling, please come take it.

I was looking for pictures on my various harddrives earlier today and I came across the infamous kellysleighride.wav file. I think I will go out and buy another clarinet because it's fun. Then, I will be all pro n stuff again.

Does anyone remember the song from...oh, I guess a few years back, that used to be on the radio a lot by Splender? It's in my head. I just thought I'd share.

I think my site is due for a makeover. hint hint hint Tyler hint hint hint. (Yeah, I know I have the skillz, but he's got the time)

July 1 11:32 pm
Work is...

KICKING MY BUTT. :(

I used to not mind working 10 hour days, but that was way back when I had lots of fun at work. Now, I still have fun, but just not lots of it. Sigh...help...save me...someone...gahhhh

I got my haircut finally, after saying I needed a haircut for three months. It wasn't everything I thought it'd be, but it looks better and it's not as long and nasty as before.

If anyone can remember the last time you saw boxes of raisins for sale at supermarket counters click here

The Internet is fun. It intrigues me. Words are fun. They intrigue me, too. From now on, I'm going to try to be more manly with my words and see if it affects the way people perceive me. I will let you know how it goes.
