ReeL BiG FiSH and K-Mo and T-Mo

Welcome to the K-Mo and T-Mo show.

You can be extras in our tv show. If I really like you, you can be a guest star.

We saw Big in Japan, Sum 41 and ReeL BiG FiSH lastnight. Let me just say that ReeL BiG FiSH shows should happen more often and they're a funny bunch of kids. Not only did they just about play every song they've ever sang or covered, they sang "Beer" twice. (It's a Chico thang...I'm not sure if they understand.) I was totally stoked when they played the Lita Ford cover of "Kiss me deadly" err..well, it was "Buy me sushi." (had to be there)

So basically, to sum it up. the night was filled with people who had never heard of ReeL BiG FiSH that were trying to mosh, the band making songs up with the crowd and taking requests, faking songs (like Smells like teen spirit...I almost left when they started to play. Thank God they stopped.) and I'd like to thank them for their kindness. You dont even know, dude.

Also, Sum 41 isn't all that great, it's just another punk band and Big in Japan just has a nifty name. I was tempted to get one of their shirts and wear it around to infer that I'm big in Japan.

I'd also like to apologize to all those who come to this page waiting for an update and then you see I haven't updated in a week and a half...Sorry. :)

Oh no! What's landed in the breezeway?

Here's a photo illustration by Robert, my friend in Germany who likes to watch the Meriam Library webcam from time to time. As you can see, the Enterprise has landed in the breezeway outside the library and good lord, what are we to do? I know, send everyone off for spring break!

Robert hails from the beautiful town of Frankfurt. Check out this really cool panoramic photo display of some of Frankfurt's monuments and scenery here.

So yes, I'm on my spring break. I really dont have any big plans except to finish some stuff that I have left over from last week. Anyway, have a good day :)

I'm internationally known!.

Asami Hashirano, who is totally adorable and just happens to be a foreign exchange student from Japan, wrote an article for a magazine that is printed for Japanese foreign exchange students in California called RyugakUSA. With the article are pictures of ME! See the picture of the week

Introducing...

Hello, my name is LeeAnn and I live in Chico, Calif. and I like to go snowboarding with my friends Kelly and Tammi and sometimes when I like to carry around a backpack and when I fall, it hits me in the back of the head and I get a concussion and a small abrasion on my forehead. I am 22 years old and I will be going to school for the rest of my life because I am a business major with a double option in management information systems and accounting or something like that...

Hello, my name is Laney and I like to sit by Kelly and Katye and write notes during Ethnics and make fun of PR people while they try to be smart. Did I mention that I'm going to be a big time entertainment writer someday? And when I become big, I'm going to owe it all to my best journalism friend, Kelly.

All of this was a paid advertisement by LeeAnn and Laney (You two owe me drinks.)

Story time

Once upon a time there lived a wizard named Marikah who lived on an island called Odus in a city called Erudin. One day after studying at the Erudin Library, she hopped on a boat and found herself in the town of Qeynos. She stayed there for a bit until one day she met a handsome half-elf named Mogator whose ability to turn into trees and turn her skin to wood fascinated her. Then one day, Mogator claimed that Marikah was not a female, but a male since most of the people around them were males. Marikah got a wee bit upset and had to come up with a way to prove that she was really a girl. To be cont... :)

Horoscopes and me.

On the back of the Chico News and Review there are these tangy horoscopes that are usually pretty good. However, this is my horoscope for this week:

You taste delicious. The funny faces you make are interesting to look at. Animals understand you. Your importance is unusual. You fight for power in all the right ways. A lost tribe salutes you from the other side of the veil. You have strong feet. It is hard to have sex while cooking dinner, but you can do it well. You remind me of a star. No one can overflow as well as you can. You are famous with God. Gratitude radiates from you. You have a secret life in your dreams. Time is even now changing the way it treats you. You belong to yourself.

It almost sounds like one of those posters on the ceiling of a dentists office about the "101 ways to make yourself happy while brushing your hamster's head."

This horoscope proves one thing: I *am* the ethnic chameleon. (The tribe salutes me)

March 8 12:30 pm
Laney and Kelly at the Orion

Niesha is a spazz. She got a job at the Paradise Post for the summer and she was doing a semi-peepee dance near the phone, so just beware, if you touch the phone it has semi-peepee dance juices on it.

Jen Cooper is sitting next to the phone with the peepee juice on it. Look at http://www.jencooper.com to see nudie pics of Jen Cooper holding the AP stylebook.

Todd is a traitor.

Tiffany and her entire band gave Laney a hug because Laney wrote an article about her in The Synthesis. (Also, Laney is going to be BIG one day...hint hint hint) More to come...

Katye Martens peed on a church and now she has a bladder infection. She's still our hero though, even though she's going to hell. (It is also rumored that she had sex on the church with Tony. Let this be a lesson to you all.)

Laney is an alcoholic.

Kelly is not an alcoholic.

Mike Ferraresi is a whore.

Jen Cooper is a rich whore cuz she models with the AP stylebook on the Internet.

Most of this is untrue and figments of Laney and Kelly's imagination.

Jen Cooper is being bitter right now and she said she thinks there should be something about me.

Jen Cooper roolz me. I am owned. All our bases are belong to her.

Tiffany!

After a weekend of nonstop rain and windstorms, God must have heard Chico's prayer for sunshine as Tiffany's Tuesday show wasn't rained out. Let's just say I wouldn't have missed this show for the world. She's now a mix of Gwen Stefani and Tori Amos and she can sing (not that she couldn't sing when she was 16). I just spent an hour of my life in 80s awe. Highlights of the show included:

-A male fan sitting on the shoulders of another guy who was lifting up his shirt to show Tiffany his nipples.

-A cell phone conversation during the performance of "I think we're alone now." It made me want to have a cell phone so I could leave a message on my brother's answering machine of her singing.

-The girl with the pink and purple hair who got up on stage during the same song mentioned above and started um...dancing.

-Danny Bernardini, an Orion news writer and excentrist, got a kiss blown in his direction by Tiffany. He won't shut up about it.

I have a new love.

I have a new love.

It's called, "New Found Glory."

Not only was the lead singer of this band cute, his nifty band was excellent. I suggest you all look into them.

Tonight I saw Teen Idols, New Found Glory and Less Than Jake in concert at The Brick Works. I sat upstairs in the bar area and watched below as hundreds of high school kids moshed to the punk music of Teen Idols and New Found Glory. Of course, when Less Than Jake appeared with their ska/punk sounds, the venue lit up like a nuclear cloud and the real fun started to appear. Not only were they entertaining, their vibe could be felt by all (even if you didn't know their songs). I had a good time. Kristin had a good time. And it had nothing to do with the fact that we had more gin than the people next to us.

I'll write more later, I'm sure...

March 2 5:02 pm
Get your tickets!

Ah yes, spring time is on its way, St. Patrick's Day falls on the first Saturday of spring break and Chico is full of tunes and punk.

March 5 is the Less Than Jake concert, which I'm attending with Kristin. Don't know who Less Than Jake is? Shame on you (especially if you're a young adult in America.)

March 6 is Tiffany of "I think we're alone now" 80s fame . However, she's not playing at the mall, she's playing in the Free Speech Area at noon. Apparently she begged certain Chico State folks to let her perform here. Rumor has it she's bringing UC/CSU students her "spiritual message." If she doesn't sing her one song, I'm going to class at 12:30.

March 26 is ReeL BiG FiSH. Tyler, Kristin and I will be attending this shindig in full force and it's guaranteed to be a good time.

What is odd about this story, class? There's more than one answer.

In other news, it's nice to walk outside on a Friday afternoon and see sunshine, isn't it? It makes you want to run, skip and jump to the nearest park (Bidwell for us) and play Frisbee with random dogs (even though you may despise them).

Make sure you remind Mr. Bush of that before he pisses anymore countries with nuclear/biological weapons off.

Please take an invitation.
