Preschoolers visit "Smokey" at the Forest Fire Center
PURPOSE:
This school is being conducted by the West Green Tree Church of the Brethren as a expression of concern for the Christian nurture of young children in the community, regardless of church affiliation, race or nationality.
PHILOSOPHY & GOALS
We believe
...that each child is different and has diffferent growth patterns.
...that each child should be helped to grow physically, spiritually, socially, emotionally and intellectually.
...that learning is an active process which is enhanced by first-hand sensory experiences.
Our goals are:
to accept each child for what he/she is and give them the loving care and understanding needed in these impressionable years.
to guide the children according to their own rate of development to grow in self understanding, relating to others and in awareness of the world.
to provide a wide variety of experiences and materials for the children.
The playground equipment provides fun.

This program will be held for 32 weeks beginning in mid-September and running through mid-May.
