It is sad to announce the death of an old Student, Robert Kissi, the Popular Kissi Soundz (DJ ) of New York. Viewing is on Sept. 15 at Ortiz Funeral Home, 5th Ave. N.Y. & funeral rights at the Armory in midtown New York on the same day. ( 2pm-7pm & 9pm to 5am)
I wish to let all of you know that today, March 10, 2000 is EXACTLY a year ago that FREDA BAFFOUR passed away here in Virginia, in the United States. She was a former student of Ghana National College. She was 38. May her soul rest in peace. She left behind 3 children, ages, 10, 7 and 2. At her passing, her name was Freda Baffour-Mills.
Evelyn Korsah.
Announcement from the Treasurer (Seth Ofosu-Somuah)

Nananom, Special Millennium greetings from the Executive Committee to all of you. We hope the New Year will see all Nananom in very high spirits, and also see us in a very strong Alumni with new directions.
It is our wish to come together this year and have a special fund raising dinner dance, either in New York or Washington. We need State by state coordination, and therefore will appreciate it if at least one Nana will come out voluntarily to be the coordinator for each of the States in the U.S.A., and two for Canada.
Interested Nananom should as soon as possible send email to the Treasurer. Planning of the Millennium Dinner dance will start right away. All States could start planning something as is being done in New York and hopefully, "National" will eventually be raised high.

God bless our native land, and we shall always sing the Joyce of Ghanacoll.
Seth Ofosu Somuah, Treasurer
