BEAST! The one that started it all!

Milwaukee's Best was the original cheap beer. It's rather strange the beer is still on the market in my opinion. Beast is the basis for both Beast Light and Beast Ice. Basically all Miller does is raise or lower the amount of water content in the beer to make the different products. Much as their is a base beer for both Natty Ice and Light. But unlike the Anheiser-Busch product, Miller actually continues to release the base beer as a seperate product.

The reason this puzzles me is regular Beast fits no nitch in the cheap beer hierarchy. People drink cheap Ice beer to get drunk quickly. People drink cheap Light beer to get drunk while reducing their calorie intake. I have yet to figure out a reason why anyone would buy beast. Except for frat houses trying to mix their pallets to keep up the myth of BYOB (if you didn't get that part don't worry about it, it's not important.)

Basically if you're at a party and they're serving Beast drink it, it's fine for a cheap beer, but it's a poor substitute for either Ice or Light versions. As for the taste it's much like Beast Ice only slightly less intense in taste.
