Duckie Eats
If you are what you eat:
M & M’s and artichokes
Glassy fish eyes, frozen hope
God, I’d love to eat the Pope
If you are what you eat.
Chewing gum and Cheerios
Boogers picked out of your nose
I’d eat Costner’s pantyhose
If you are what you eat.
Pickled olives, cottage cheese
Bits of phlegm each time you sneeze
Boiled Elvis if you please
If you are what you eat.
Tons of tiny micro-germs
Bowls of noodles, french fried worms
For Jesus soup I’d wait my turn
If you are what you eat.
The streets are filled with ice cream cones
My vodka parents sit at home
School lunches on the telephone
If you are what you eat.
Peanuts on the television
Drug store gin in a head-on collision
Lukemic hotdogs for derision
If you are what you eat.
Skinny spermies work the corner
Charging chili by the hour
I’d eat Clinton for the power
If you are what you eat.
Molding dog-doo wags it tail
Baked potatoes thrown in jail
And Captain Ahab’s now a whale
If you are what you eat.
I wouldn’t mind if I could be
The fabled creature in the sea
They surely no one could eat me
If you are what you eat.
I’m now a sheep in humans clothes
If that’s the way the story goes
I think I’ll go and eat a rose
If you are what you eat.
