There are only 6 Red Talons in West Virginia.  All are part of the Sept of the Reaping Winds.

Location
The Talons in West Virginia are wanderers.  They travel about the state in search of Leeches, the Wyrm and such.   

Relationship with Other Tribes
While West Virginia is still a vast wilderness compared to most other Eastern states, it is still heavily-populated when compared to many of the western states.  Thus, there are very few Talons in WV.  That does not mean there are none, however.  There is a small pack of Talons that have accepted that not all humans are bad humans (only most of them) and tolerate the monkeys as much as they are able to.  This Sept, called the Sept of the Reaping Wind, is not centered within the state and is constantly on the move throughout it.  Their primary duty under the Protectorate is to guard the state against possible Black Spiral Dancer infiltration.  The Protectorate Council has unlimited trust in the Wind, as they have earned it through many years of exemplary duty.
