Glass Walkers
"I do not fear computers.  I fear the lack of them."
Issac Asimov

Numbers

The Glass Walkers are most numerous in Singo, though they exist in large numbers in Charleston and Huntington as well.  Outside of these cities they are virtually nonexistant.  There are perhaps 24 in Singo, 11 in Charleston and 8 in Huntington.  Each of these cities has its own sept, usually named for the city itself.  Wheeling is entirely absent of all Glass Walkers.  The Shadow Lords who control the city have made no outward attacks against their Glass Walker bretheren, and the Glass Walkers admit that the Lords have done nothing to them.  Still, for some unknown reason, the Glass Walkers refuse to make permenant residence in Wheeling and spend as little time as possible within its borders.

Location

Glass Walkers within Singo are notoriously wealthy.  Their homes consist of the finest mansions and apartments in West Virginia.  The reasons for this wealth are many, but the most direct factor was the Glass Walker-spearheaded attack on Singo's Heavy Industry Corp. in the late 1940's, and the following reconstruction of Singo's manufacturing centers into the first (and most successful) "green," environmentally-friendly industries.  Consequently, the Glass Walkers of Singo are almost all very rich, and so live in the nicest areas.  This is not true, however, for the Glass Walkers outside Singo.  These Walkers largely follow the standard Glass Walker formula.

Relationship with Other Tribes

"The Silver Fangs are in control.  No, really, the Silver Fangs are in control, we're just their flunkies."  This is the mantra of Glass Walkers in West Virginia.  Everyone who knows anything about the politics behind the scenes of the Council meetings know that Flashing Mane (Silver Fang Council Eldest) has completely lost his marbles and relies on his favorite aide, Drive Crash for the little (and, what most would say, unimportant) decisions that Mane doesn't have time to worry about.  But these little things, when accumulated, can add up to very big things.  In the decision to allow the Gangrel Leech, Erik, to live and feed in Singo, it was Flashing Mane(Drive Crash)'s vote that broke the Council's tie.  What before seemed like a very little problem has now grown into a very large problem, as suspicions are being raised that Erik is Embracing progeny and sending them out into West Virginia to raise hell.
The great Caern at the top of Zingo Memorial Trade Center is a Glass Walker caern and is open to all tribes and septs.  This has placed many Garou in a strange position.  The Glass Walkers don't ask for Chiminage, exactly, when you come to their Caern via moon bridge.  They ask for information, specifically about the goings on at other Caerns.  The standard interrogation lasts from 5-20 minutes, but some have been known to take longer.  This policy has led to the Glass Walker Sept of Singo having the largest cache of information on the goings-on around the world.
