Tahkeela is the most potent drink in the Universe, illegal on most planets.  Its main ingrediant is the venom milked from infant Farback, which (straight out of the glands) is also a deadly poison.  A complicated curing/aging process must be undergone to get the Tahkeela.  This explains why it costs upwards of $10,000 per bottle.

Spartan Beer

Spartan Beer is hideously tame.  It is perfectly sufficient to intoxicate a Spartan, but it is little more than flavored carbonated water to most other species.

Morovekkian Moon Juice

Moon Juice is a strange concoction created 150 years ago by pranksters.  It has the standard intoxicating effect (a bit more potent than sherry), and a differential effect on every Morovekkian who drinks it.  It is almost always a joking, harmless side effect (purple skin for a week, loss of body hair, unpredictable flatulance, etc.) but on some Morovekki it is potentially dangerous.  1/3,000,000 Morovekki will experience a sudden and uncontrolable explosion in the potency of their abilities.
