| The following Goals correlate to an Egyptian Interdisciplinary Unit and the use of television as a resource for several lessons in that unit. |

Goal 1: The learner will develop an understanding of the nature of science through the use of media and technology. Objective 2: Discuss that scientific knowledge of the past has provided the basis for today's knowledge, which will, in turn, provide the basis for tomorrow's knowledge. Goal 4: The learner will develop a positive attitude toward science. |
