Introducing Unit to Students
Use the KWL chart. Ask the students what they know about ancient Egyptians and write down their responses. Then ask the students what they would like to learn about this particular culture. Write their questions down in the middle of the chart. At the end of the chart, leave room to write down what the children learn as they study ancient Egypt.
