History of Bruno's Bruno's Pizzeria has a long rich history in West Lafayette. The restaurant was initially open in 1955 by the Itin family (Orlando and Evelyn Mary). The original building was located at the corner of Highway 26 and River Road (43). Due to the construction of the new highway expansion, Bruno's was forced to move to its new location on Brown Street. Locals from Lafayette, West Lafayette and the surrounding area have made coming to Bruno's a family tradition since it was initially opened in 1955. Now, just as ever, locals, travelers, and Purdue students have all made Bruno's a place to gather and eat outstanding food. |
