DEDS Resources on the WWW

This is an effort to collect resources available to DEDS researchers on the WWW. This is done both for my own reference, and hopefully for others interested in DEDS research. This is of course a never-ending project that I just started, so all suggestions are welcomed.

This is a list of DEDS research groups that I know of on the WWW.

Title: Explanation about Application of Predictive Control in Ecnomic Decision

Abstract: This paper introduces three control methods of feedback control, optimal control, and predictive control, and compares their difference and relations, also briefly states the three elements in predictive control, i.e., predictive model, receding horizontal optimization, feedback correction. Afterwards it discusses the implementation of these three control methods in ecnomic decison, i.e., pure market-oriented ecnomics without policy influence, pure plan-directed economics, and market ecnomics under the plan orientation and policy influence, and their efforts on economic desion in social economic systems. Through a simplified model of economic decisionBeer Game, it simulates the application of these three control methods employed by one participant in this game, and the according results of his decisions.

Application of Petri Nets in Concurrence Control of Distributed Data Base Managing Systems(DDBMS)

Abstract: This paper assumes the readers have gained understanding on the fundamental conceptions and mathematical analysis methods of Petri Nets in some degree. On the basis, the problems in concurence control of DDBMS, and the control strategies applied in practice are introduced here. Then, a Petri Net model of the technology of Primary Copy Two Phase Locking/PC 2Plis established. In the process of analysis and manipulation of the Petri Net, the feasibility and improvability of the technology are verified. Key words: Petri Nets, DDBMS, Concurrence Control
