I woke up earlier in the morning,
..... and came in a hurry into the day.
Too many things I should do,
..... so there's no time to pray.
Problems came to me,
..... and things seemed so heavy.
I wondered, "Why didn't GOD help me?"
..... He answered, "You didn't ask for it."
I wanted to see happiness and beautiful things,
..... but my days were so gray and cloudy.
I wondered, "Why didn't GOD give it to me?"
..... He answered, "You didn't search for it."
I tried to come into His presence,
..... while I used all of my keys upon His door.
But then GOD greeted me so sweet and lovely,
..... "My dear son, why didn't you knock?"
I wake up earlier today,
..... be still for a while before come into the day.
Too many things I should do,
..... that's why I need to take time to pray.
