Keith Cloward Dixon, 70, former long-time Payson resident, died May 10, 1992 at his home in Wells, Nevada.
He was born April 9, 1922 at Payson, a son of Selby O. & Zola Cloward Dixon. He married Arlene Reynolds. He moved to the Dixon's Mary's River Ranch in Elko County, Nevada in 1963. He ranched there with his father and brother. They sold the ranch in the early 1970's and Keith settled in Wells, Nevada. He remained active in ranching, helping other ranchers in the area. He owned the D & A Saloon in Wells until it was sold in 1985. He was a former member of the Wells City Council. He was a member of the Wells Chariot Association and the Wells Roping Club. He helped with the Pony Express Race in Wells.
He is survived by his wife of Wells; two daughters, Dana Garibaldi, Wells, Nev.; and Tammy Gray, Battle Mountain, Nev.; three grandchildren; a brother and three sisters, Dale Dixon, Wells, Nev.; Phylis Waggoner, Greensboro, North Carolina; Marilyn Perkins, Salt Lake City; and Janice Bringhurst, Springville.
Graveside services will be Thurs., 11 a.m. at the Payson City Cemetery, 805 East 400 No., under the direction of Walker Mortuary in Payson.
