Charles E. Cloward, 76, died Wednesday (Aug 23, 1939) afternoon at
his home following a long illness.
Mr. Cloward was born February 7, 1863, in Payson. He and Mrs. Cloward spent their married life in Payson and on their farm east of Salem. He was a successful agriculturist. Mrs. Cloward died October 30, 1937.
Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Charles E. Cloward
Jr., Mrs. Mattie Pickering, Mrs. Zola Dixon and Mrs. Madeline Dixon
of Payson; Mrs. Erma Rogers of Milford; Lee Cloward of Salt Lake
City, and Elmer Cloward of Provo; three brothers and a sister, Parley
and Edward Cloward of Salem; Joseph Cloward of Rexburg, Idaho, and
Miss Amy Cloward of Blackfoor, Idaho.
Also 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren survive.
