LaVERKIN, Utah--Bard E. Cloward, age 86, died on May 7, 1998 at the Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah. He was born on February 5, 1912 to Joseph Swen and Ella Morley Cloward. He married Ruth Albert Anderson in 1946. She died in January of 1987. He later married Mary Iren Mckie in Las Vegas in 1987.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, of LaVerkin; one son, Larry (Yvonne) Cloward, of Castle Dale, Utah; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Velita Harding, of Moroni, Utah and Betty Draper, of Fairview, Utah; three brothers: Leo Cloward, of Moroni, Utah, Ted Cloward, of Fairview, Utah and Reg Cloward, of St. George, Utah. He was preceded in death by four brothers; three sisters; two grandsons: Bard Eldon and Brian Franklin; and one granddaughter, Tonya.
Graveside service will be held Monday, May 11, 1998 at 1:00 p.m. in the Payson City Cemetery under the direction of Spilsbury & Beard Mortuary, St. George, UT-673-2454
