Ok so for the Orlando Con I arrived way late. My dad decided that we would leave for Orlando at 6 AM but we ended up not leaving until 7 AM and I was so excited the night before that I didn�t get any sleep at all. So I was stuck in the car for 8 hours with my family and arrived at around 2:30 PM. I rushed in and ran into the hotel like a madwoman trying to find the convention center. First I asked some random worker who was in the main lobby and he said way down in the con center and I�m thinking gee thanks for the extensiveness of your directions. So I�m running down and I see two people from the Vicky Pratt list and asked them where it was. They told me and I went back to my running. By the time I found it they were already on the blooper reel which I had already seen in Chicago.
The first guest to come out was Gina Torres. She came out at 3 so I got there just in time! I had sort of just sat down at the first available seat I had so of course I wanted a close up view of Gina so I went over to the question line right away even though I had no clue what to ask her. She was very pretty in person�much prettier than she looked on Cleopatra 2525. Not saying she looked bad there�she is just a lot cooler in person. The first thing that popped in my head when I was standing there was the ep Mind Games where she had the red wig so I ended up asking her if that was her idea or someone else�s and she laughed and said it was Rob Tapert�s idea. She told a funny little story about that that I don�t really remember. A lot of the questions people asked she was like ok but It doesn�t leave the room! So that little phrase became a catch phrase for her whenever she was asked a question that she might get in trouble with. One of the things that wasn�t supposed to leave the room was that on the set of Cleo, the cast found it amusing to make fart noises when filming a scene. Someone asked about how the cast on Cleo kept in shape and Gina says she likes to keep it balanced. She will let herself eat junk food so she doesn�t get psychotic over not having chocolate. She also said she works out 4 times a week. She said Vicky is always working out and eats healthy and that jennifer�something involving alcohol. I don�t think that alcohol thing was supposed to leave the room.
At the end of her Q&A she sang I Will Survive since she was requested to sing. She was really really good! Then there was intermission and I went into the room with all the merchandise and this girl came up to me and asked me if I was xenawpngabrielle online and I was like yea that�s me and she told me she was the girl I talked to online. I was happy cuz now I knew someone!! We went out cuz I was trying to find my way back to the main lobby cuz I was supposed to meet my dad there so I could get some money. He ended up finding us and I went to the hotel room and got $20 for autos. When I came back I ran into the Vicky list people again so I introduced myself and they told me that Vicky wasn�t coming. I was sad to hear that but I had really come for Hudson so it didn�t ruin my day. Now if Hudson hadn�t been there I would be still crying today. I then went to buy 8x10�s so I could get them autographed later on. Then I went back and talked with the Vicky list people since they were doing the boring auction.
Then while we were standing outside the door Adrienne Wilkinson just walks right in and I�m like who is that Adrienne? There were some other people over there with her so I had to go over there. I said, �hi I�m joining in� and Adrienne shook my hand and I asked for a hug and she said she wanted to know my name first so I told her and then we hugged. She told me she liked my eye glitter and I was like thanks I absolutely love glitter and she said she liked my bracelets too. Then someone said they liked her outfit and she said thanks and that it was a last minute decision. Then I decided to leave Adrienne with the other people over there and went back over by the wall. I went back into the main room to see Pasadena clips and then Adrienne came out. I wanted to try and get some good pics so I went to the question line. My plot didn�t work but I did get to ask another stupid question. I asked her if being tied up ever hurt or got annoying and she said it never hurt but it was sorta like ahhh Eve is being tied up again!
One person asked her to do the �I�m Livia!� thing and she told a funny story about how she had to say that so many times that people on the set would always be like �who are you?� She said one time when she did it at a convention someone told her she did it wrong. Then she did it and it sounded pretty good though I don�t quite remember her saying it lol. She asked us if could take off her shoes and we said go ahead�Gina appeared barefoot. When she took off her shoes she showed us her cool trick she can do which is standing on the tip top of her toes�en pointe I think it�s called. She talked a lot about Eve and Livia and how she liked Livia much better. She wanted to keep Livia�s costume. She hated Eve�s rags and always hoped wardrobe would make her something new since Xena and Gabrielle were always getting new costumes. I think she said wardrobe gave her some of Eve�s rags to keep. She also said that she was happy with Eve leaving when she did and that the finale should be about Xena and Gabrielle.
After that there was autographs and I talked to the people I had met up with so far until it was the place where I was sittings turn to get auto�s. I was pretty hyper by then and I could not sit still. Gina was the first autograph I got and she said she liked my eye glitter too and then she signed her auto and then the guy next to me said he got the pic of sarge and hel cuz he was gonna have them both sign it and I was like damn I have that pic with vicky�s sig on it already and I showed it to Gina and she ead Vicky�s thing about me having a tiny waist and Gina goes �You do have a tiny waist!� Then I got Adrienne�s auto and then I went over to talk to Erica (the online girl). She made me go over with her camera and get a picture of Adrienne and then she went and got another one by herself. For some reason I couldn�t stop dancing around the room and I discovered I could do the thing with my toes that Adrienne did. When auto�s were over I ran over and asked Gina for a pic but my camera was out of film so Erica had to use her camera. Gina referred to be as the tiny waisted girl lol. Then I walked Erica to her car and we saw Adrienne leave. Then I went back in and waited with Larissa and Gabbie (the vicky list people) for any word from Vicky. There was nothing so then I left finally.
