To most people Madonna is just another famous diva but to me she is much much more than that.  During most of my life I just thought of her as that singer who wore the cone bra but about 2 years ago I began to take much more notice in her.  I found myself loving her songs when they came on the radio and then I saw VH1's Behind the Music of Madonna and I fell in love with her.  I bought her CD's and went to websites about her, everything I could to learn more about this amazing person, and in the process of learning about her I learned a lot about myself.  In a way Madonna was my teacher.  She taught me things that no one else could teach me.  She helped me to discover my sexuality and to be proud of what I am.  She taught me that you should be loud and proud about who you are and not try to hide it.  Before I got into Madonna I was very prude and such and she got me over that through her Sex book and Body of Evidence and Erotica, it may sound like a bad influence but it was a very good thing.  Madonna really opened my eyes to a whole new world, a world I never thought I would be open to.  She taught me how to be opened minded to all things no matter how bizarre they may seem.  There are just so many things that I've learned from Madonna that have really made a difference in my life and for this Madonna will always have a special place in my heart.
