1) Get all of your old Nintendo items together in one place. (games, controllers, powerpads, guns, nintendos, etc.)

2) Put all of your games in alphabetical order. This will come in handy. As you receive games place them in alphabetical order on a shelf so u can find them easily.

3) Start to ask friends at school if they still play their old nintendo, if they don't ask if you can HAVE their games and nintendo.

4) If they won't give it to you take there name and a list of there games for later reference.

5) Ask several people, trust me there will be some that will give you there games for free. (I got over 80 games for nothing, all I did was ask.)

6) Once you think you have collected all of the games that you can for free, go back to the people who said they would sell you their games. Before agreeing to buy ask if they want to trade games. Only trade games you have doubles of.

7) Also visit local pawn shops and flea markets around your town and offer to trade in your doubles or buy games for a small price, no more than 5$.

8) If you can't find the right game for free or you can't find it at a fleamarket or pawn shop, you should go to funcoland. theyhave a whole lot ofstores, and pretty reasonable prices.

8) After following all of these steps you should be able to get a good start at collecting nintendo games.

Hey Hoz, Just wanted to thank you for your tips on collecting
NES carts. I never would
have thought about just asking people for their games !!! It's pure
genius.
Since I'm outta school, and have been since '95, I've been
asking co-workers
for their collections.
I'm acually getting second job working for FuncoLand
for the Holiday season.
I love this place--Thier 99 cent list changes month to month so I
give em a
list each week and try to collect the months cheapest games.
When I first stumbled across your site I had maybe,
8-10 games, if that. Now
between your great tip, and FuncoLand, I've 90 games. That's
within the space
of a month. Thanx again.
