In the Good Old Days there would have been plenty of wenches waiting on us hand and foot. Methos: Oh yea, right. We had those when I was a kid. We called them slaves. Duncan: You're not getting this are you? Methos: Oh I get it alright. Just grow up MacLeod. Duncan: Well boys will be boys......You could use a little R & R. You're too uptight. Methos: Moi? You're the one yearning for the days of yore when women were women and men were men and a pint of ale came with a wench. Duncan: Yes! You're right and I WANT MY WENCHES BACK. Well as the story goes a kind soul with the heart of a wench in a modern woman* came to Our Noble Heroes rescue and waited on him hand and foot. Methos had never seen such tenderness and hospitality in his life and couldn't resist when another wenchly soul approached and saw to his every need. The Tavern has never been the same. People come from miles around because Tavern MacWench is known for its funloving patrons and hospitality as are the members of the Clan MacWench. All are welcome and there is usually good conversation of every kind to be heard.
