A very sad day for all of us.....................

Someone can make an impression on you even if you've met for just a short time. We all had just met Scottie in Anaheim but knew her for longer here on the forum. She will be missed. Such a sweet, sweet lady and I'm proud to have known her.

I saw your mother a few times in Anaheim; I'm glad I got to talk with her. I know she had a good time there. Just as I was leaving the Hilton Monday morning for the last time, your mom saw a MacWench t-shirt I was holding. That was all she needed to say hi and chat with me for a few moments. I'm pleased I got the chance to say good-bye.

My mother passed away from lung cancer at 51 when I was 29. It was a blessing that she was no longer in pain but for those of us left on earth it is hard to come to terms with sometimes. God be with you and give you strength!

While I never met her, I did have the occasion to have Emailed her a few times, and we had a delightful conversation (a few months ago). She seemed to be an extraordinary, wonderful, kinds-hearted, perfectly lovely person, and even though I didn't know her all that well, was always friendly to me. My deepest sympathies and best wishes go out to her family! I'm more than sure she is watching over all of her family and friends right now, from Heaven.
