The two pictures immediately below were taken just outside my parents' backdoor. Remember that there was NO SNOW here until about 8:00 p.m. on the 24th.   If I had taken a picture that morning, there would have been green grass under my feet.  The first picture (on the left) is 8:30 the morning of the 27th.  The second picture (on the right) is the very next morning, again about 8:30 a.m. on the 28th.
The pictures below were taken in front of the condo.  The first, like above, was taken the morning of the 27th.  The second was taken about the same time on the morning of the 28th.
Immeditately below is a picture of the cars in the parking lot in front of my parnets' condo.  There are three cars in the picture ... the one on the left is only about 1/3 visible.  The one in the middle is my parents' car.  Really!!	The picture below is of my parents' car after a little bit of shoveling.  The best place to look for the actual depth of snow is on a car or on a roof.  Look at the roof of this car!!
And, finally, below, I wanted to include a couple more pics that I thought you might enjoy.  The first is a picture of Mom, Dad and I ... not sick of being housebound together.  :-D  The second is a picture taken from my parents' backyard.  It's beautiful, huh?
